Bronze Hei Tiki (Hole-Type)

This Hei Tiki has been cast into Bronze (Silicon Brass) from a Whalebone Hei Tiki that I hand-carved. I have then changed the colour of the Bronze using chemicals to create a 'patina', which is similar to an oxidized layer on the Bronze itself - kind of like a colourful rust.

There are a range of different colours you can get with different patinas - please feel free to keep looking until you find the one that jumps out at you!

I have also provided a video for you to see the colour of this Tiki in the Sunlight.

I wanted to create a line of Hei Tiki that is more affordable than a bespoke, commissioned piece, and as a result, this Taonga is roughly 3x cheaper than if I were to carve the same thing in Whalebone.

My hope is that with a more accessible line of Hei Tiki, people will be able to share Taonga with their loved ones more easily.
