Kurupapa

$400.00

This Taonga is called a Kurupapa - traditionally worn from the ear, and sometimes in a cluster of 2-3. When worn this way, they would swing and clink together creating a beautiful high-pitched ringing sound as you walked.

The Kurupapa has been understood to symbolize a small fish - note the mouth and the big eye that the cord is suspended through.

A beautiful sleek design, perfect for the minimalist in your life.
