These Earrings are made by knapping / flaking a stone called Flint.
Flint is quite a hard stone, but will sheer off in flakes if you hit it just right.
Flint is also beautiful in the way it has translucency similar to Pounamu / Jade - perfect for letting light through on these earrings.
Please Note: The earrings you see here are for display - as we have multiple pairs of these earrings, the ones you receive will be very slightly different. They will be very close in shape, size, and colour, but because every pair is hand-made, they will have subtle differences.
